How would you describe your style?
My work blends fine art sensibility with a documentary approach. I focus on natural moments, thoughtful composition, and images that feel timeless rather than trend-led. I offer gentle guidance when needed, while allowing real moments to unfold organically.
Do you direct or pose couples?
I provide relaxed guidance where it’s helpful, particularly during portraits, but I don’t over-pose or stage moments. My approach is designed to keep you comfortable and present, resulting in photographs that feel natural and authentic.
Do you work with a shot list?
I don’t work from rigid shot lists, as they can interrupt the rhythm of the day. Instead, I focus on storytelling and emotional continuity. I’m always happy to discuss meaningful family groupings or specific moments that are important to you.
How many weddings do you photograph each year?
I photograph a limited number of weddings annually. This ensures that every couple receives my full creative attention and a consistently high level of care throughout the process.
Do you photograph engagement shoots?
Yes. Engagement shoots are included in the Classic and Signature Collections and can also be booked separately. They’re a relaxed way to become comfortable in front of the camera and to create beautiful, personal images ahead of the wedding.
Do you offer albums?
Yes. Fine art wedding albums are an important part of my work.
The Signature Collection includes a handcrafted wedding album, personally designed by me using archival materials. Additional albums, parent albums, and upgrades are available.
Do we receive digital images?
Yes. All collections include a curated selection of high-resolution, professionally edited images, delivered via a private online gallery for viewing and sharing.
Do you provide raw files?
No. Raw files are unfinished and don’t reflect my final work. Editing is an essential part of my creative process and ensures consistency, tone, and longevity in the images you receive.
Do you offer wedding websites?
Yes. The Signature Collection includes a custom wedding website designed and published by me. It’s an elegant, stress-free way to share wedding details with your guests, presented in a curated, refined style. It's also available as an add-on to my other collections.
Why Albums & Wedding Website?
Handcrafted albums and curated wedding websites are thoughtful touches that enhance your experience, preserve your story, and create a lasting legacy. The Signature Collection includes a coffee table book, while the Heirloom Collection includes a fine art book and a custom website for your guests.
How long does it take to receive our photographs?
Your full gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks.
It can take longer during the busy season.
All clients receive a small preview shortly after the wedding.
Are you on social media?
I choose not to actively share my work on social media. My focus is on the couples I photograph and the experience I provide, rather than on trends or online visibility. Most of my work comes through referrals and personal recommendations.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I photograph weddings throughout South Africa and am available for destination weddings. Travel details are discussed individually depending on location.
How do we book you?
To reserve your date, a booking fee is required. Because I photograph a limited number of weddings each year, I recommend getting in touch early.
What if we need additional coverage?
Additional hours can be added, even on your wedding day as I only commit to one wedding a day.
Are you the right photographer for us?

You would like raw, unedited image files
You are seeking same-day or next-day full gallery delivery
You are looking for extensive social media content or viral-style imagery.
My work is best suited to couples who value a calm presence, trust the creative process, and are drawn to photographs that will remain meaningful long after trends have passed.
